Hello friends! I'm self quarantining right now. And you should too.
Besides not going anywhere too exciting (besides my walks in the park every other day to keep me sane), I decided to make the most of my free time in quarantine and make a very cozy makeup tutorial. I took these photos a couple days ago when it was super rainy, because sometimes you need to make the most of the weather that spring brings.
But first, enjoy the kitties who joined me for the tutorial:
We're all just trying our best over here. Please, everyone, try to take care of yourself in these scary times. Try to enjoy the outdoors if you can. That's definitely helping me right now. And be sure to message friends and check on them. Being alone can be challenging in so many ways. Let's all look out for each other. I appreciate you all.
Alright, let's embark on this makeup journey to take our mind off things for a bit.
To start, I did my foundation, contour, highlight, and brows. Any way to prep my face.
Next, to make myself feel extra cozy, I packed on some blush. I even added a bit to the tip of my nose for an extra rosy look. The blush I used is a Zoella x ColourPop collab product.
Next, I applied some eyeshadow from my Morphe 9s palette. I used the grey shade in my crease and along my lower lash line, and then I added two silver shimmer shades to my lid.
Next, instead of using a liner, I dipped my brush in a little bit of black eye shadow from my Tarte palette and created a little smokey effect along my upper lash line to add dimension.
Lastly, the finishing touches: a matte ColourPop lippy, a white liner for my waterline, and some drugstore mascara to make my lashes pop. Finish with some setting spray, and you're all done!
Thanks for stopping by!
Remember to wash your hands, and keep on grinning!
