Ice Blue Makeup Tutorial

Hello friends! Welcome back to G&N. It feels like it's been so long since I last posted, but I'm back. This year I hope to blog more and more. I have a lot of ideas for 2015! As a fun festive idea, I thought we could celebrate this Winter season with a fun, ice blue makeup tutorial. It's quick and totally wearable! Let's get started!

So the first step of this makeup tutorial is to prep. I primed my face with my Covergirl CG Smoothers BB Cream then I used an E.l.f. Eye Primer all around my eye. Complete any foundation skin routine you normally do, but I'm simply using my E.l.f. Concealer on any of my blemishes for a lighter feel.

Next I applied white eye shadow all along the lid and finely dusted the outer corners of my eye lid in an orphan blue shadow, both from E.l.f.'s Little Black Beauty Book Warm palette.

I then applied E.l.f.'s liquid highlight just above my cheek bone and the E.l.f. Under Eye Concealer just over any darkness under my eyes. This combination really brightens the cheeks, giving more focus and concentration to the eyes. I chose a Carmex chap stick to coat over my dry lips.

Contouring and applying blush is completely optional! My contouring is very subtle too, so don't worry about it if this does not sound appealing.

My next step to make this look appear more bold is to apply Wet n Wild's white eye pencil to the water line and Covergirl's Flamed Out Shadow Pencil in #305 to the inner corners of the eyes. Next curl your lashes and coat with the mascara of your choice. I used Covergirl Lash Blast Volume as my choice of mascara for this look.

Finally, take a step back and look at your masterpiece.
