"When we stare into each other's eyes after kissing for a while...that just makes me so happy inside. I can't even."
Ladies and gents, it's been too long. So long, in fact, that I am pleased to announce I am in a new relationship.
Walking through the halls today at school, I was stopped by my friend Connor. "You looks really happy," he told me. Truth is, I am. I'm so 'love struck' that I feel the need to get a body guard to catch me when I swoon, because people, I'm swooning hard core over this guy.
Let's take it from the top. I've had an on-and-off, non-serious crush on Tyler for a good year now. Like, I always saw him around, even sat at the lunch table with him for a while, and just kept the feels inside. After being tragically dumped by Grant about two months ago, I spent my Spring break reconnecting with old friends, one being Tyler, the other being his best friend--and my ex--Nathan. Nathan and I dated in the late year of 2013, so it's all good.
One weekend we decided to meet up (which you will see the GRWM video from that event soon, I promise). It was honestly one of the most fun days I've spent in a very long time.
A couple weeks later--prom. I went with an ex, yet dear friend, Owen. It was decent. But the day after that was amazing. Tyler and I went for a walk in the park and later he asked if the next "hang out sesh" could be considered a date. (Swoon! Catch me! I'm swooning! Somebody? Anybody?)
Guys, this moment was something I didn't see coming. Read part II of this post to find out how things play out!
