A Berry Festive Fall Look

11/27/2019

Hello friends!
Yes, I went there with the title. I'm only a little sorry.

The blog has definitely slowed down more than I had hoped, but that's because I've been doing lots of design projects behind the scenes. I've also been spending a lot of time working and exercising. I'll be writing a post on that very soon. So stay tuned!

Also, happy Thanksgiving! It's been a wild November. Where did it go?

For today's blog post, I want to bring you an eye look that I've been wearing here and there this fall. It has a mix of berry tones and touches of bronze. Basically I love it, and I hope you do too.

Since this is moreso an eye makeup tutorial, I'm going to skip the details about prepping and contouring. I will, however, still list my products below (since I'm a cheap woman).

Primer/Moisturizer - E.l.f. Daily Hydration Moisturizer
Brows - W7 Brow Parlor kit
Concealer - Loreal True Match Foundation
Foundation - Loreal Infallible Pro-Glo Foundation
Contour - NYX Matte Bronzer

Alright. So, after I prepped, I used my Morphe 35M palette for everything. I started by digging into a tan shade and applying it in my crease, then following up with a cranberry pink shade and overlapping the two for a warmer mix.

Next, I went into a shimmery pink color and applied it to my lid and to my lower lash line. I'm not a makeup guru, nor am I that skilled in this field, so I didn't powder beforehand. So in these photos, you'll see the fallout and consequences of not thinking ahead. But fear not! I cleaned up the sparkles from my cheeks when I was finished!

Brace yourselves! We're now about to highlight using the lightest shade in the palette. When I highlight my eyes, I touch into the inner corners and under my brow bone.

Next, I'm adding a deeper purple to the outer corners of my lid and crease, then dipping into a shimmery bronze shade and very messily applying it to the inner crease and to the inner corner of my lower lash line. It really pops against the berry tones!

And lastly, I clean up the fall-out and add my finishing touches--matte lipstick, mascara, setting powder. And wah-bam. It's a look.

Thank you guys so much for popping in after nearly a month of nothingness! Have a save and happy Thanksgiving.

Keep on grinning!

Lydia
