Hello friends! A belated merry Christmas and happy holidays to you all! I haven't had enough free time to prep any festive Christmas posts this year, but I was luckily prepared for the start of winter.
As you guys might know by now, I do a seasonal favorites post each time a season ends. Since autumn is freshly over, I decided to compile my favorite products of the season for you all to see.
Let's jump on into it, shall we?
My Highlighter Products
These puppies are straight from the drugstore and here to stay. The Loreal True Match Lumi collection is perfect for that daily glow. I'm amazed with how well it shines and with how long it lasts on the skin. It sets wonderfully and isn't greasy.
Wet Skin Lotion
I always struggle with dry skin in the fall and winter. I mean, it's fairly normal. But never have I tried a wet skin moisturizer! Ever since I tried this one by Jergens, my skin has been wowed. I apply it to my wet skin after every shower and the cherry scent smells amazing. It absorbs quickly and it leaves my skin feeling soft and happy all day.
If you haven't tried Target's Good Chemistry brand, you're missing out! The scents mix with your pH balance to create its own unique fragrance. "Queen Bee" is my top favorite scent, not only because of the adorable packaging, but because it smells, according to the listed notes on the back, of black currant, peony, and amber. I love this scent so much that I even bought a roller ball of it to keep in my purse in case I want to add extra between jobs during a busy day.
Besides fighting the standard dry fall/winter skin, I've also been fighting what my brother and I call our "Winter Hands". Basically his and my hands get so dry every fall and winter that they become cracked and bleeding. Like, always. But so far, I've combated my "Winter Hands" through the fall with my Go Be Lovely lotion, and now it's time to bring on the winter. I used to have a perfume and lotion of this same coconut mango scent (even from the same brand) that I found at Marshalls long ago, but I've never been able to find it in any stores again...until I went to Francesca's. Tah-Dah! It was there and it smells just as amazing as I remembered.
Hooray! I've been back to wearing colors on my lips again. I've been loving this Revlon Ultra HD Matte Lipcolor so much for its soft, moisturizing wear. It's also so pigmented and easy to apply! What more can I say?
And those were all of my beauty favorites from Fall 2018. What are some of the top items on your own favorites list? Comment them below!
