Rose Gold Makeup Tutorial

Hello friends!
As summer nears a close, I decided to make a nice transitional seasonal makeup post. And what better post-summer, pre-fall color scheme to use than an array of rosy shades?

This particular look has been a favorite of mine to do all summer long, so I hope you guys like it also. It always makes me feel super pretty, warm, and bright. So let's get into it, shall we?

So to start the look, I use a plethora of products as my every-day base. I'll just list them down below, in order of how I use them!

Primer/Moisturizer - E.l.f. Daily Hydration Moisturizer
Brows - W7 Brow Parlor kit
Concealer - Loreal True Match Foundation
Foundation - Loreal Infallible Pro-Glo Foundation
Eyes - "Classic" and "Vintage" from Tartetist Pro Palette
Highlight - Jaclyn Hill x Morphe Vault pearly shade
Contour - NYX Matte Bronzer

Next, let's get into the fun stuff! For my eyes, I highlight my inner corners with that same pearly shade I used from Jaclyn Hill's Vault palette. Next, I dive into my Colourpop x Kathleen Lights palette. This is where the real magic begins.

Something to note about this look is that it's all about gradients. So for the crease, I started with a tan shade, then gradated into an orange-y shade, then ended on a dark brown on the outer portion of my crease to add a pop of dimension.

Next, we make a gradient with the three shimmery pink shades in that same palette.

For the gradient on the lid, I started once again with the lightest shade on the inside, working my way to the darkest on the outside. Given there's three pinkish shimmer shades in that Colourpop palette, I started with the light pink on the inner portion of my lid, the used the middle-ground pink in the center, gradually blending into the red shimmer on the outer corners.

As I continue jamming to Wallows, allow me to tell you how I finished my look.

I went ahead and actually copied that same shimmer gradient that was on my lid, and re-applied that to my lower lash line. Next, I powdered my face using e.l.f. HD loose powder, curled my lashes, applied Loreal Lash Paradise, and spritzed my face with some Loreal Paris Lumi Shake & Glow dew mist.  This allows the setting powder to look less cake-y in the end. I also brought back an old favorite of mine--the Kat Von D. matte lip in Bow n Arrow! And tah-dah!

Thank you guys for tuning in today! Have a wonderful weekend!

Keep on grinning!
