Before we begin, we've got some important things to look over:

- Support women's rights to safe abortions here.
- Check out several donation options to support Ukraine here.
- Support various crucial BLM funding options here.
- Visit the official Asian American and Pacific Islander philanthropy site here.

Hello friends,
I've been indulging in some newer toiletries lately, with a growing urge to find more cruelty free and/or vegan products.

I'm still pretty new at this, the scavenger hunt for clean beauty products, so in this post, you might see some items that are vegan, some that are cruelty free, some that are both, and some that might still not meet the mark.

I'm at a place with my makeup where I currently use palettes that are most likely expired, and that most likely don't fit my new, more stern standards of cruelty-free products. But it really is an I'm going to use this until it's gone, and then I'll switch to a vegan alternative kind of scenario, since wastefulness isn't helpful either. But alas, it's all a learning experience.

So yeah, let's dive into my Spring favorites.

Glossier You, eau de parfum

I believe I mentioned this scent in my last favorites post, but I still can't get enough. A little goes a long way! It has a sweet scent, with a peppery bite--a floral and spicy mix. This is one of the only items on my list of favorites that unfortunately doesn't quite hit the mark of a cruelty-free origin.

PureZero Clean Beauty shampoo & conditioner

PureZero is a vegan and cruelty-free beauty brand that I've purchased some haircare products from a couple of times now. I'm absolutely in love with this coconut scented shampoo and conditioner. It leaves my hair feeling super soft and healthy, and it smells incredible.

Covergirl Clean Fresh Skin Milk foundation

Shout out to Covergirl for being a cruelty-free brand, while also being incredibly mainstream. I love this vegan foundation a ton. It's super lightweight, yet feels really buildable. I also like that it looks like a very neutral in consistency. I can make it look dewy or matte, whichever I prefer, because it cooperates well with both setting powers and mists.

Glossier Haloscope dew effect highlighter

I love pairing that Covergirl foundation with this dewy highlighter from Glossier. It makes my skin look super fresh and healthy! This highlighter stick makes it easy to create bright touches to any makeup look you do. It's definitely best to apply this with liquid makeups rather than powder.

Love Beauty and Planet dry oil

I've talked about this dry oil a few months ago, but I have to keep raving about it. Love Beauty & Planet is a brand that's focusing on using recycled materials for their packaging and that is open about their journey to environmental consciousness. But this oil in itself smells incredible. I like to apply it after my showers, before bed because this argan oil and lavender scent is so relaxing. It helps me unwind after a long day, and it still leaves a light scent when I wake up in the morning.

Good Chemistry Sugar Berry body mist

Good Chemistry is a vegan and cruelty-free perfume brand that focuses on pH balances and overall aesthetics with their scents. My favorite scents are Queen Bee, a floral yet sharp scent,  and Sugar Berry, a sweet and fruity scent. I love Good Chemistry scents since they last all day, and all feel so unique. The notes in all of the scents they offer seem to pair perfectly together. Also, a fun fact I want to share is that all of their products are said to smell slightly different on everyone based on everyone's pH balances, hence Good Chemistry.

Thank you stopping by! What are some products you've been loving?
