Hello friends! In celebration of Summer, I decided to make a new makeup tutorial for you all. And here it is: my Summer smoky eye.
Start with a clean face. If you do skin makeup, like what I've had to do lately, do it girlfran! I use Maybelline New York Fit Me! Matte +Poreless foundation. It's been a favorite since prom. I absolutely love it.
Next I used to Shany peach blusher on my cheeks and contoured with a simple brown from a NYX eye shadow pallet. Hey, it works just like bronzer.
Next I used my frequently-mentioned E.l.f. Neutral Eyeshadow Pallet. I mixed a dark brown in the crease and on the outer corner of my eye lid, then used a more golden-brown in the inner corner of the crease. After that, I used a light cream shade and applied it to the lid and inner corners of my eyes.
Next, the magic happens--The Summer shimmer! In the inner corners of my eyes, I applied a metallic-y yellow shade to brighten my eyes. This sunny shade then blends into the golden shadow I applied to my lash line, and then winged-out towards the outer corner of my crease.
After that shadow, I draw on some regular-sized cat eyes with E.l.f. liquid mascara. I then apply some Maybelline New York The Rocket Volum' Express Mascara and E.l.f. Mineral Infused Mascara to my top and bottom lashes. Then as an extra Summer-y touch, I applied some Loreal Paris Colour Riche lipstick in Toasted Almond to my pout. Then bam! It's complete.
Thanks so much for checking out my blog! Did you like today's post? Let me know down below if there's anything you'd like me to try out! What are your Summer plans? -Lydia
