Hello friends! It's that time again! Lots of us are heading back to school. So that means a fashion blog post is due.
With school here, I feel like it's only appropriate to show some outfits that are ready for the transition from summer to fall. So today, I compiled photos of four semi dressy outfits that make me feel excited to prance around campus.
I've been asked to do flatlay photos before by AdoreMe, but I've only done it a few other times. That's my little disclaimer for the beginning of this post.
Without further a do, the four outfits:
This first outfit is actually one I wore to my friend's wedding. The oranges and grapefruits on this dress, as well as the peachy color, keep the summer vibe relevant. On the other hand, the color of the shoes and tortoise shell glasses hint that fall is indeed on its way. You might even throw on a cardigan to dress it up or down. By the way, outfit details are below the photos.
Dress - A New Day (Target) Glasses - Zenni Optical Shoes - Universal Thread (Target) Camera - Garage Sale
For this look, I decided to pair a casual denim dress with a darker lip. I find it hard to wear dark lip colors in the summer, but this deep red lip pairs so nicely with black sandals and this collared number. This, too, would look amazing with a cardigan and even a little neck scarf.
Dress - Universal Thread (Target) Shoes - Merona (Target) Glasses - Zenni Optical Lipstick - Kat Von D "Nahs Fur Atoo" (Sephora/Ulta)
You might remember seeing this dress featured in last spring's fashion post. If not, well, this dress is perfect for those transition seasons like spring and fall. I paired it with gold/silver jewelry to complement the creamy color of the dress.
Dress - Forever 21 Earrings - Wild Fable (Target) Bracelet - Some place in South Carolina Glasses - Zenni Optical
For this outfit I wanted to bring in a sweater for those chillier days. I paired warm tans and browns with hints of black for this outfit. To keep a bit of a summer trend with us on said chillier day, I decided to pair this sweater with a bralette. That way we still have that provocative little number we're all so used to showing off in the summer time. I particularly love the details and layering of this outfit. I can't wait to wear this when it's colder outside!
