Thanksgiving 2017 Makeup + Outfit

11/25/2017

Hello friends!
Last year, I split my Thanksgiving post into two parts since I went to a few different Thanksgiving dinners that occurred within the span of two different days.

But this year, since I had to work during the Thanksgiving on my boyfriend's side (which was scheduled for the day before actual Thanksgiving), I only managed to go to one of his dinners and mine, which were on the same day. In summary, there's only one post this year.

Also, last year's looks were much more formal. I wore festive dresses to both events, both outfits of which you can see here and here. This year, however, I was feeling much more casual and went for more of a bronzed golden eye shadow look. I guess I'll just hop right in and let you know what makeup products I used and what clothes I wore this year.

Quick little tid bit I'd like to add is that, YES, MY LIPS ARE SUPER CHAPPED. Try not to focus on them too much, if you can. I was wanting to wear some lipstick or something but my lips were far too crusty for that. So yeah, this is the first glance at my look. I started out by curling my hair with my Remington straightener (I find that using a straightener to curl my hair is way quicker than using a curling iron) and priming my face with some e.l.f. daily hydration moisturizer.

Next, I filled in my brows a bit with my e.l.f. bro duo in "medium". I then cleaned up any excess product around my brows with some Maybelline New York Fit Me! matte foundation, then applied the Maybelline New York Fit Me! dewy foundation to the rest of my face to even out my skin tone a bit more.

I then proceeded on to contouring with an e.l.f. contour palette and went to work on my eyes with my Morphe x Jaclyn Hill palette. I used Beam in my inner corners and along my brow bone as a highlight (which I also applied to my cheeks, nose, and forehead). As a base color on my eye lid, I applied creamsicle, and then added Queen over that. In my crease, I created a blend from the inner corner out to the outer corner, starting with Pooter and ending with Mocha. And since I created that blend, I added a touch of 24/7 to the outer corner of my lids to add more depth to the metallic gold shadow.

To finish this look, I applied my NYX Epic Ink liquid eyeliner and some Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara. I was also sure to apply some E.l.f. HD setting powder to keep everything in place.

As for my outfit...

I'll list brand names and store names underneath these photos for all to see.
