Three Party Necessities

Hello friends!
Although my Spring Break is over, I feel like there's always a good time to talk about parties.

   In mid-February, I received a blog post request from Paperless Post, asking me to describe how I would celebrate a milestone in my life--whether it be a birthday, my graduation, etc. And let me just say, I hardly ever have parties. But the thing is, I actually love hosting parties! The last party I hosted (if I remember correctly) was a 2014-2015 NYE party. We all dressed in formal attire, listened to classical music, and surrounded ourselves with glistening string lights. I'm not sure yet if I'll have a legitimate graduation party, but simply seeing my family will be wonderful as is.

   However, if I was to imagine a "perfect", very festive party, there would be three necessities present (that pun was unintentional), besides the amazing company.

1. Colorful Décor

   What's a party without the fun? Besides the entertainment and the guests, I believe décor plays a huge role in a really fun party. Specifically, bright banners, buntings, and bulbs brighten the mood of your event. A bright environment gives life to any party.

2. Pretty Things

   When it comes to party favors, treats, gifts, and invitations; fun packaging and designs once again boost the spirits of both the host and the guests. Bonus: if you give gifts in pretty boxes like these, the recipient can keep them and use them for other things in the future. For me, I keep some of my craft supplies in these. And I've had these boxes for a solid couple of years now (thanks Angie!).

3. Your Look (duh!)

   It's a party! Why not get all festive? Bold lips and voluminous hair are the perfect touches to basically any outfit imaginable. Get out there and do your thing!
